If you must succeed using Google's free blogspot domain to blog, you must be as specific as possible. That means you have to target a specific topic and build on it. Make sure there is an audience that need help in the area you have chosen to blog about. Like this blog focuses on helping newbie bloggers understand the concept of blogging and how to start, you need to find something you are good at or enjoy learning something new about. When you use blogspot one of the major thing is unique content if you want to go as far as earning through Adsense.
Adsense is one of Google's monetizing programs that helps publishers earn from adverts they place your site.
Before you start your blogging business, you need to consider these things:
1. Your target audience (Niche)
2. Your brand name
3. Content
4. How you intend to make money from your blog business.
Let's look at these few points bit by bit.
1. Target Audience: How to chose a Niche to blog about.
- Think about that one topic you have interest in, a topic you can write about effortlessly, that topic you get intrigued when you see a post relating to it.
- Think about basic questions people ask relating to the topic.
- Try writing out 10 post headings for your blog that tends to solve a problem in that topic.
2. Brand Name:

For example, my name is Iyke Harris, I want to blog about blogging tips, I coined this name bloggingwithiyke.blogspot.com, all you need to remember is my first name and you remember my niche which is blogging tips.
3. Content.
This is the main place that needs a little bit of discipline. Choose the frequency at which you want to be posting your content, eg: Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
Do research as to the already written out topics you wrote earlier and write good content with correct English. Write at least 500 words posts for each

There are various ways you can monetize your blog. These ways are through;
